Currently, if we want to get search volumes for a list in a new location, we need to re-import the list manually. With import limits set to 700 queries, I have had to build a Google Sheets tool to ‘split a list’ so I can reduce this process for my larger lists saved in KWFinder. It would be so much easier if we had the option to duplicate a list for another location. List duplication would also solve the issue mentioned below.
Re-importing a list also causes issues with special characters, since you cannot search for or import queries with special characters but you CAN discover them via related results. So when I need to reimport a list (to see search volumes for another location), then I cannot recreate the same list as the import process normalises the queries with special characters. I cannot search for these again to re-add them, as this also normalises them. Instead, I would have to note the seed query which resulted in the related query containing special characters, just to re-add to this list after.
Not only would list duplication solve the frustrating and time consuming process of re-importing a larger list, this would also retain queries with special characters.
This makes a ton of sense.
